I have started using Kali/Backtrack since Backtrack 3 and since then, i've always tried to keep my applications secured and have my clients happy. Backtrack was my first love in security. I even done what it shouldn't be done... test againt production website ...!!!! And yes, it hasppened the unexpected... i've wiped the entire production database.
Good memories, huh?
Anyway, this week i've updated the Kali OS, and I was amazed on the update but in the same time dissapointed. The Kali 2.0 includes :
Continuously Updated Tools, Enhanced Workflow
Supports KDE, GNOME3, Xfce, MATE, e17, lxde and i3wm
Kali Linux 2.0 ARM Images & NetHunter 2.0
Updated VMware and VirtualBox Images
Metasploit Community / Pro no longer ships in Kali
Which i have to admit is a great improvement, but really it had to look like Ubuntu? I'm very dissapointed about the GUI, really, does it had to look like Ubuntu? Check the video attach if you don't want to speed a VM to test the OS.
Even if I don't like the GUI, I will still use it!
